Wal-Mart has numerous locations throughout the State of Texas.
Therefore, if there is an accident at Wal-Mart, and the person injured is an employee acting in the normal course of his or her duties for Wal-Mart, then there is no workers compensation coverage available. A nonsubscriber employer is one that does not obtain and/or secure workers compensation coverage for its employees. It is our understanding that Wal-Mart, in Texas, is a nonsubscriber employer.
